The Australian Inaugural (2013) Worldwide Lyme Awareness Campaign "Committee" was not something that was planned to any degree. When I signed Australia up in November 2012, I didn't anticipate the event to grow so large and I was very grateful Janice agreed to work together on this project almost as soon as it started. Between the two of us (and some very enthusiastic event organisers) we had organised nearly a dozen events by February 2013 when we approached the Lyme Disease Association in February 2013 whether they would be interested in becoming involved with the project and sponsoring some of the associated costs. Thankfully they agreed, and Sharon came on board as our third 'committee' member.
All the event coordinators worked tirelessly alongside us - to make Australia's participation in the Inaugural Worldwide Event fantastic. Read more about how the committee came about and what was achieved at:
