Worldwide Lyme Awareness Project - Australia Sponsors
The Worldwide Lyme Awareness Project - Australia began as a Worldwide Grass Roots campaign. Many advocates all over the world, joining together to bring as much attention to the inadequacies surrounding Lyme diagnosis and treatment as possible.
Some countries (including Australia) in this event were fortunate in being able to secure the backing of Lyme Associations to support some of the costs in this event. In Australia's case, the Lyme Disease Association of Australia (LDAA) came on board in March 2013, agreeing to cover some of the costs to event organisers by sponsoring posters, pamphlets and liability insurance (required by some of the larger events and buildings lighting up green).
